Sanger Family – 2008 – boys and dad – fishing georgian bay style

25 04 2009

Maggie and David just love the Sanger clan.  Nothing better than the sound of laughing boys – also, love the life jackets.

This is a good shot of the inside of the new Lund.  The split seat configuration is nice, and they are wider than the Geisler boats.  We’ve ordered flat floors for 2009 – so that the are easier for walking or standing.

I love the 4 stroke engines, but still prefer the wood boats.

Family Day – August 2008 – kids, swimming, fishing, shore lunch …

25 04 2009

Now this was a perfect day.  We went as a group.  While some of the kids went exploring on the rocks, we went fishing.  Caught a really nice bass and a walleye, back to back.  Brought them back, and had a shore lunch.  Nothing better than a shore lunch with kids.  Even though our kids don’t always eat fish, when you give them fresh fish in a batter … baaam … the plate is empty.  They eat is all.   No complaints on our side.

Mark is 6 ‘ 5″, so these were bigger than the look.

Then, they went for a swim and jumped off rocks … great day.

Who need Nintendo?  One of the greatest joys is seeing how much kids enjoy nature and the outdoors.  Given a chance, they will choose nature over Nintendo any day.   I’m posting this because I think it is a beautiful shot … he seems to have good technique as wel.

O.K., let’s start the debate.  Lund, Alumacraft, Cresliner, Princecraft or Legend?  Which ones do you prefer and why?  Also, any comments about Marina’s or dealers that give great service would be appreciated … always good to know who takes care of their customers …
