Unbelievable start to 2010

8 05 2010

We went fishing, but the wind and weather were not cooperating.  So, we decided to fish with minnows off the front rocks.  Ended up hooking 16 fish in two hours … including a 10 lbs Pike, and two huge small mouth Bass (5 and 6 lbs).  Here are a few of the pictures …

Winter Planning & Muskie Dreams

14 02 2010

Hi Everyone,

While we are digging out of snow, we are also in preparation for the 2010 fishing season.

We would like to wish all of our customers a very safe and prosperous 2010.

2009 was a terrific fishing year. It ended with me (Peter) taking David Powell (fishing Guru) to the best spot. Well, something like that. In any event, on our last day of the year, David landed a monster Muskie … but we forgot to post the picture so it is on the computer up at the lodge.

Stay tuned and we will update it as soon as we can.

These are real lunkers.

Fishing still great

23 05 2009

We had some windy weather, but some nice fish as well … and the Walleye have started biting. It is always a struggle to get our customers to give us the pictures – geesh … it is like pulling teeth sometimes. But, we wrangled these ones … very happy guys.

A beautiful Storm

16 05 2009

Today, it is raining. It can’t always be sunny. A long term customer “Barney”, asked Maggie to post a picture of a rainy day … well … we don’t keep that many pictures of rainy days … So, we have asked Barney to get us a picture of himself – soaking we – and we can post it.
