Our part of the Georgian Bay can produce some massive Muskie. In fact, they have to be 54 inches to even consider keeping them, which would be a crime – picture and catch/release the way to go. However, we don’t tend to target Muskie as much as large Northern Pike. If you are interested in Muskie, then the fall is the time, huge lures … but when they hit … the season for Muskie starts the 3rd Saturday in June.
