It was unreal … the bass just kept hitting on Pike Lures … of course, all returned quickly to the water … just some monsters …

They just kept biting ... this is all in the first few days ... crazy.

Great Bass – Georgian Bay – Ontario

The bass season does not begin until the 4th Saturday of June.  But, we can start dreaming … this is a nice healthy small mouth from the summer of 2008.  Also, notice the inside of the wood boat … I will try and show shots in both the Aluminum and Wood boats and we are open for opinions on Wood Vs. Aluminum fishing boats?

Tell us about your biggest bass caught in the Georgian Bay?

Bass fishing season does not begin until the 4th Saturday in June.  But boy, are they worth the wait.  The 30,000 island area of the Georgian Bay are basically one big Shaol, and the bass (both large and small mouth) are plentiful and get very big.   For the smallmouth, they are normally in the shaols, whereas the large mouth are in back bays and weeds.  Very tasty too ..
